Last week, JBL announced five new pairs of open earbuds in every shape, size, and fit at CES 2026. And they aren't the only brand expanding their open earbuds line; Soundcore and Shokz also dropped new editions during CES last week. In other words, open earbuds — earbuds that do not sit in your ear canal — are really having a moment.

While most of the JBL CES earbuds and headphones lineup won't be available until March, the first of their open earbuds just hit shelves. As of Jan. 13, you can officially purchase the JBL Endurance Zone open earbuds.

The Endurance Zone earbuds utilize JBL's OpenSound technology, sensitive 18x11mm dynamic drivers, and an adaptive bass boost algorithm to deliver powerful sound while still keeping you in touch with your surroundings. They feature a secure ear hook design (similar to the brand's popular Peak earbuds) with adaptable memory wire for a secure, flexible fit that hovers your ear canal rather than sits inside of it. Like the rest of the Endurance family, the Endurance Zones are built to power through any weather or workout, with IP68 certification, a rugged design, and 32 hours of battery life.

Choose from black with gray or white with orange details.

  • Lanyard hole on the case for convenient carry

  • Personalization via the JBL Headphones app
