VISALIA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Visalia Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver who left a woman to die on Sunday.
On Sunday, just after midnight, officers responded to the area of Giddings Street and Howard Avenue for a report of a hit-and-run.
When officers arrived, they found a woman lying on the street. She was transported to the hospital, where she died due to her injuries.
Police said that the suspect vehicle is described as a 2004 – 2005 Honda Civic with possible front-end damage.
