HANFORD, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A new restaurant that serves homestyle burgers opened in Hanford on Monday.
Wimpy’s Burgers had its grand opening on Jan. 26. The burger joint originally started in Tulare and became a local icon since its creation in the early 90s.
In 2017, the owners, who are brothers, expanded to Dinuba near downtown. After their success, they decided to open a Wimpy’s in Visalia. They didn’t stop there; they then opened the first Wimpy’s Hamburger restaurant with a drive-thru in Lemoore.
Now, their newest location can serve all residents of Hanford. They are located at 418 N. Irwin St. The restaurant is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
