
FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Several people were arrested last month in Fresno as part of a statewide VICE operation targeting human traffickers, sex purchasers and men meeting minors.
On Wednesday, Jan. 18, Fresno Police participated in the statewide operation.
Police said that the operation resulted in multiple arrests and two suspects were arrested for arriving to meet minors for the purpose of engaging in sexual acts.
Both suspects were booked into the Fresno County Jail for what police said was attempting to commit lewd acts with a child under the age of 14 and for contacting a minor intending to have sex.
No further information about the arrests was released by the Fresno Police Department.
