Afternoon observations on February 17 near the wildfire have winds out of the west at 25-35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. Relative humidity values are around 20-22 percent. The sustained winds will stay around the same speeds as they are being observed right now over the next few hours. Winds will slowly decrease after sunset and by midnight should be around 10-20 mph with occasional gusts up to 25 mph. Those west winds will last the rest of the night into Wednesday morning. Relative humidity values should rise up to around 50 percent on Wednesday morning. Critical fire weather conditions are expected once again on Wednesday with southwest winds around 25-30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph.
