FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Fresno Discovery Center is warning vendors of a scammer posing as the center, attempting to collect vendor fees.

According to a post on the center’s social media, staff had been made aware of scammers impersonating Fresno Discovery Center and contacting vendors.

The post explains that all vendor registration and payments must be completed through the Discovery Center’s website.

“Please do not send payment or personal information to anyone,” the post reads. “Fresno Discovery Center will never ask you to communicate through WhatsApp or request payment outside of our official vendor form.”

If anyone is contacted or receives suspicious communication, they are urged to contact the center directly to verify at FDCevents@fresnodiscoverycenter.org.
