CUTLER, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 30-year-old was arrested for allegedly trying to stab a clerk during a fight in Cutler on Monday.

Deputies said that 30-year-old Jerry Guerrero was trying to cash bad checks at the Cutler Food Mart on Road 128.

When deputies arrived, they learned that Guerrero had been confronted by the clerk. A fight then broke out, and deputies said Guerrero was trying to stab the clerk.

The clerk had minor injuries from the fight, and Guerrero was arrested at the scene.
