MADERA COUNTY, CA – The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be doing brush removal, and other maintenance work, on State Route 41, over Deadwood Pass on Thursday, March 5th. The operation is scheduled from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Flaggers will be in place to assist traffic.
The following will occur:
- One-way traffic control will be in place over Deadwood Pass, this Thursday, March 5th.
- Both northbound and southbound lanes will be impacted.
- The maintenance work is scheduled from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.
- For northbound traffic, flaggers will be placed just north of Road 420 and Road 425B.
- For southbound traffic, flaggers will be just south of Vista Point.
- Drivers may experience delays during this time.
The time frame of the one-way traffic control may be extended, if necessary, due to delays caused by weather or uncontrollable events that may occur.
Caltrans reminds you to drive with extra care and allow additional time while travelling near construction zones. Please be alert for construction personnel and remember to “Slow for the Cone Zone.”
