Winds were expected to remain southwesterly during the day at
20-25mph, gusting to near 35mph until near sunset. A slow
shift towards a westerly wind was expected early Friday evening, continuing to northwesterly by midnight with speeds diminishing to 10-15mph. A cold front is expected to bring winds around to the north
at 15-20mph with gusts to 30mph between midnight and 3:00 AM.
Relative humidity will stay in the single digits and will largely remain under 20% until the front arrives, rapidly increasing humidity to near 70%. The temperature was in the low 80s.
