Local showers with some isolated lightning strikes were in the area during late Tuesday afternoon. Wind gusts from isolated showers will be quite erratic and could be in the 40-60 mph range. Prevailing winds will be out of the south southwest in the 15-25 mph range through sunset, holding more in the 15 mph range thereafter. A cold front will come through tonight between 1 AM and 4 AM with a north wind shift and wind gusts that could exceed 50mph. Sustained north winds will be 20 to 30 mph from the point the front moves through until late Wednesday afternoon. Wind gusts will likely be above 40mph through 11 AM, and will relax a bit after 3 PM, but still may gust in the 20-25mph range through sunset on Wednesday.
