Scattered storms this evening will lead to continue potential for dry lightning strikes, and erratic wind gusts. Outside of storms winds will be out of the south 15 to 20 mph through sunset, falling in the 5 to 10 mph range after midnight. Winds will pick up out of the southeast 10 to 15 mph after noon on Friday. Precipitation should take a break through the night and into the afternoon on Friday, but then showers and storms will be more favorable in the late afternoon. Additionally, there will be a cold front that is currently expected to stall to the north, but we can't rule out the front tracking further south and shifting the wind out of the north in the late afternoon on Friday.
