3 Biola men arrested after selling illegal fireworks online, police say

KERMAN, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) — Three men from Biola were arrested Wednesday after police say they found a social media post tying them to over 1,500 pounds of illegal fireworks.

The three arrested include:

  • 32-year-old Adalberto Gallegos
  • 20-year-old Raul Gallegos
  • 21-year-old Ivan Rodriguez

According to officers, they were storing over $15,000 worth of illegal fireworks in a Biola home.

They are now facing felony offenses related to the possession, transportation, and sale of illegal fireworks.

Police remind the community that only fireworks classified as “Safe and Sane,” which do not explode, shoot into the air, or travel across the ground, are allowed in California.
