Columbia, CA—Colombian firefighters recently trained at the CAL FIRE Columbia Air Attack Base to learn more about the aircraft’s uses.

State fire officials report, “Colombia recently purchased multiple helicopters for firefighting and rescue missions and reached out to CAL FIRE to learn from one of the largest aerial firefighting programs in the world.”

The training included how CAL FIRE uses helicopters for aerial firefighting, water drops, and rescue operations.
