
TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A farm worker was robbed at gunpoint on Friday afternoon near Lindsay, according to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report about 1:30 p.m. of an armed robbery near Avenue 200 and Highway 65 just outside of Lindsay.
After deputies arrived on scene, they determined that a farm worker was robbed at gunpoint, and then the suspect ran away with the worker’s phone and money, according to the sheriff’s office.
Officials say the suspect has not been found yet, and the sheriff’s office is in the area investigating.
