
MADERA — In a heartfelt ceremony, Madera County officials gathered to commend Deputy Jessica Martinez for her courageous actions, which led to the rescue of a young child last month.

The Madera County Supervisors presented Deputy Martinez with a proclamation recognizing her quick thinking and skilled intervention that saved a toddler’s life. With extraordinary calm and precision, Martinez utilized her extensive training to administer lifesaving techniques at a critical moment.
Sheriff Tyson Pogue praised Martinez’s actions stating:
