No one hurt in fire that destroyed Selma home

Selma firefighters were busy this afternoon putting out a raging house fire.

It happened after one o’clock this afternoon in the neighborhood of Sylvia and North. Video was sent in to us by Cody Chadwick. You can see flames shooting from the attic and smoke billowing out from the air vents. Firefighters don’t know yet how it started but say the home is a total loss.

Fortunately, no one was home at the time. However, we’re told the homeowner’s dog escaped from the fire.
