Mariposa Fire Mountain Community Fire Information
Phoenix Fire is on the Yuba River Ranger District of the Tahoe National Forest. The fire is located west of the Fordyce Lake in Nevada County. The Phoenix Fire is 38 acres and 75% contained. The fire was active yesterday with runs upslope. Expected containment is by the end of today, September 8, 2016.
