Police Work Multiple Scenes For Deadly Shooting In SE Fresno

A man is dead after a shooting at an apartment complex in Southeast Fresno.

Fresno police say the call came in as a disturbance at around 9:30 Friday night at the Rancho Apartments near the intersection of Butler and Chestnut.

Investigators say several shots were fired hitting multiple homes at the complex and two men were shot. One of the men died at the scene. The other, called police for help from a nearby liquor store. He’s expected to be ok.

Police spent the evening looking for multiple suspects who were driving a red vehicle at the time of the shooting. There is still no word on if this shooting is gang related.
