Regrowing a forest in El Dorado County

After wildfires ravaged parts of the state forest officials say now is the time for recovery.

The King Fire burned more than 200 miles in El Dorado County in September, destroying nearly 100,000 acres of trees. Now seeds are being planted to help regrow the forest. The Forest Service raises more than three million trees each year to replace areas hit hard by massive wildfires in the state.
