Mariposa Fire Mountain Community Fire Information
Firefighters are working an vegetation fire in the Geysers, east of Cloverdale. The fire is moving at a moderate rate of spread and is in steep, challenging terrain with difficult access. Fuels are heavy, with areas of grass and pockets of oak woodland. The vegetation is extremely dry due to the past five years of drought conditions. Temperatures are in the high 90âs with low relative humidity. Structures are currently threatened. Additional resources have been ordered and are enroute.
