Sheriffs Search For Store Robbery Suspect

The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a suspect, in connection to an armed robbery in Fresno County.

According to a Sheriff’s Office statement, deputies were dispatched to Valentine Market, located on the 1400 block of S. Valentine Avenue, at about 1:30 P.M. on Friday. A masked man reportedly entered the store, pulled out a handgun, and pointed it at the clerk. The robber then demanded cash, walking around the register and ordered the clerk to take the money out of the register, and put it in a bag.

"As the suspect was leaving, he pointed the gun at another store employee. Very bold fashioned." said Tony Botti with the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5′ 6" to 5′ 11" tall, weighing 180 to 200 pounds. At the time of the robbery, the man was reportedly wearing a dark blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans, a medical mask, and gloves.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stoppers at 498-STOP.
