Shooting near Blackstone and Saginaw under investigation

Fresno police are investigating a central Fresno shooting.

The shooting happened around 10 last night in the area of Blackstone and Saginaw. Police say the victim was shot several times, but he managed to run to a nearby gas station for help. All while being followed by the suspects.

"Once he was at the Shell Station we’re also getting information that the suspects then attempted to relocate him and for unknown but possibly to continue the shooting," Lt. Mike Doyle, with Fresno Police said.

The victim was taken to Community Regional Medical Center in critical condition. Investigators say they’ll be reviewing surveillance video from the gas station.
