Soda Fire (Wildfire)

The Soda Fire started at approximately 5:40 PM on June 4, 2016 in the Carrizo Plain National Monument in San Luis Obispo County. The fire is currently 2003 acres and is 80% contained. No structures are threatened. There are 120 firefighters on scene, who will continue to hold and improve containment lines today. Temperatures today will be between 92 and 95 degrees, with gusts up to 20 mph predicted in the afternoon. The cause of the fire is under
