Suspect Arrested For Carjacking

A 23-year old man is behind bars tonight after Fresno Police say he carjacked a man in front of the victim’s home.
Investigators say Keith Stump started a family’s Honda outside the home.
The victim and his friend tried to stop him.
But Stump drove off in the vehicle, throwing the victim’s friend of the car and breaking the windshield.
The victim’s friend got on his motorcycle and chased the stolen Honda.
The chase crossed into Clovis City limits, and the friend on the motorcycle closed in.
That’s when investigators say Stump made a run for it.
He was quickly arrested by Clovis Police.
Tonight Stump is in custody at the Fresno County Jail for today’s alleged carjacking, and previous warrants.
