Suspicious death investigation in Central Fresno, 1 confirmed dead

Fresno Police and Fresno City College Police are at the scene of an investigation where one person is confirmed dead. 

A black male, said to be in his 40’s, was found in a duplex on Vasser, near Blackstone and Clinton in Central Fresno.

Authorities were originally called there shortly after 4:00 a.m. this morning for an "accidental stabbing". 

Since responding, crime scene tape has been put up and homicide investigators have been called to the scene. 

Police are currently questioning two women on scene. 

Authorities have not yet been able to locate a weapon and have not determined if the death was accidental or criminal.
