Copper wire thieves and vandals are slowing down the construction of a park. The park was designed for people with disabilities and it’s being built just West of Highway 99 in Northwest Fresno. The city broke ground a year ago. Since then, construction crews say the site has been hit 9 times, 4 times, just this week. It’s taking a toll on the park and putting crews behind schedule.
