Thieves Target New Drought-Resistant Garden

Just 48 hours after plants went in, thieves pulled some of them out. The group behind the space in Woodward Park says, they plan to replant, but says the action hurts more than the plants.

Fresno Mayor Ashley Swearengin issued a statement on the theft, saying: "Leadership Fresno has been an important part of our community for over 20 years and has performed numerous acts of public service during that time, including making improvements to Woodward Park. The City will work with Leadership Fresno and other community groups to fix the damage done by this thoughtless act ."
