Two shot at southeast Fresno house party

A gunman is on the run after shooting two people at a southeast Fresno house party.

It happened on Florence, near Chestnut, around 3:00 a.m. Sunday morning.

Officers found a 21-year-old victim in the backyard. He was pronounce dead at the hospital. 

Another person at the party also showed up at the hospital with a gunshot wound. That person is expected to recover.

Police found a gun in the car used to drop off the second victim.

Fresno Police say they are not sure what led to the shooting.

This is the 21st murder in Fresno this year, compared to 23 at this time last year.
