Valley Delegates Back from DC, Plead for Water

After spending a week in the nation’s Capitol, a delegation of Valley leaders returned home yesterday.

The 24 member delegation made their case for more water in a series of meetings with legislators.

Despite the obvious need, local delegates say obstacles stand in the way of more water coming to the Valley, but they are cautiously optimistic about possible solutions.

Two members of the delegation joined KSEE24 Sunrise Anchor Carina Corral to talk about the trip and the promises made, Parlier Mayor Alma Beltran and Mario Santoyo of the Friant Water Authority.

Watch the video for possible solutions discussed.
