Visalia man wins $5 million from a scratcher

A man who’s been playing the lottery for 30 years is now a millionaire.

Doug Gary won $ 5 million from a $ 20 scratcher ticket. He bought it at Rose’s Market, on South Lovers Lane in Visalia. Gary says he’s won $ 1,000 a couple of times, but nothing like this. We spoke with the man who sold that winning ticket.

"I was standing, I swear just my legs just strange, fell down almost which is when I found out its worth $ 5 million," Mike Hammoudh said.

The owner of the store will receive $ 25,000, just for selling the ticket.
