William Shatner wants to give his water to Tulare

Many people are surprised to learn that actor William Shatner has a ranch in Tulare county.

It gives him a big reason to find a solution to the drought. Shatner has proposed a Kickstarter fund-raising campaign to build a $ 30 billion pipeline to bring water to drought-ravaged California.

The actor suggested it could come from Seattle. Shatner has senior water rights along the South Fork of the Kaweah river for his south valley ranch.
