Dozens of World War II veterans are back home in the Central Valley after the trip of a lifetime. The sixth Central Valley Honor Flight gave these men and women the opportunity to visit Washington D.C. and the World War II Monument. Wednesday evening their flight returned home to Fresno and hundreds of friends, family members, and supporters gave them a hero’s welcome.
