Yosemite Fire Update for August 20, 2014

The Dark Hole and El Portal Fires are 100% contained though smoke remains visible throughout areas of the park. The Cathedral (2 acres), Starr King (.75 acres), and Lembert (unable to locate, but light smoke is in the area) continue to show fire activity and smoke is visible. These high elevation fires remain small and are smoldering and creeping through surface fuels.
