Yosemite Fire Updates

A new fire, Double Rock, was found September 16. It is approximately 7 miles east of White Wolf and near the source of Morrison Creek. The Lembert and Cathedral fires in the Tuolumne Meadows area have become more active due to windy conditions at ridge tops and near the Sierra Nevada crest. The Meadow Fire has been converted to a smaller Type 3 organization and will be monitored by wilderness fire modules.
