Seems as the recent storm brought a few small quakes along with it, since December 12 thru Dec 13 we had a few Small quakes rattle the area from Oakhurst to Mariposa County.
At approximately 2014-12-13 06:36:07 the USGS detected a small quake of about 2.6 on magnitude,
the epicenter was located about 19 miles NE of Oakhurst at 37.489°N 119.372°W depth=11.7mi.
Then on 2014-12-13 at 04:13:17 a 2.6 quake hit 16mi ese of Yosemite Valley, epicenter was located at 37.483°N 119.368°W depth=10.7mi.
Also on 2014-12-13 at 02:28:56 a 2.6 quake hit 9mi South of Mariposa with epicenter located at 37.356°N 119.993°W depth=13.5mi.
No damage was reported and most quakes of this magnitude go un-noticed by the public.
According to the U.S Geological Survey site quakes magnitude 2.6 and under a very common and bring no significant risk to the area.
