Thousands came out for Grizzly Fest

Thousands took advantage of the great weather this weekend for the very first Grizzly Music and Arts Festival.

The event at Chukchansi Park featured two stages, food trucks and more than a dozen musical acts. Many were there to see the headliner, local rapper Fashawn. Some say the event is a sign downtown Fresno is changing. c

"Downtown has a really bad reputation young people don’t want to come here they think it’s scary but they put on events like this and it shows Downtown can be cool and a place to hang out with your friends," Christina Tea said.

Organizers say about 8,000 people attended Saturday night’s event.
