25-year-old man killed in Central Fresno

At 10 Wednesday night Fresno Police responded to a call of shots fired in the 400 block of San Pablo near Belmont and Blackstone in Central Fresno.

When investigators arrived they found a 25 year old man lying in a breezeway near an apartment complex. First responders say he was shot and killed.

Investigators are working with witnesses to find out who this man is and why he was in the area in the first place.

Fresno police crime scene investigators will remain on scene for the next 6-8 hours to look for clues.
