Blood Drive TODAY for Fresno Fire Cpt. Dern

Ever since Fresno Fire Captain Pete Dern was critically injured when he fell through the roof of a burning garage, so many people in the community have wondered how they can help. 
Donating blood is one way.
Today from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., the Central California Blood Center will have a Blood Drive at Clawson Honda and Clawson Motorsports at 6346 N. Blackstone. This is a great opportunity for community members to show support and help, by donating blood. 
John McKoane, Vice President of Clawson Honda and Clawson Motorsports, is not only good friends with Cpt. Dern, they’re neighbors. Naturally, the McKoane’s want to do all they can to help.
"Pete is one of the finest people I have ever known. It is an honor to have Pete as my friend, and I am committed to helping Pete, his family and the Fresno Fire Department any way I can," said John McKoane. 
Fire Chief Kerri Donis, along with a team of Fresno firefighters will also be at today’s drive.
