Weekend Fun! Events happening in the Valley

Baseball is in the air, classic car show, breakfast with zoo animals and Big Hats Days! No shortage of fun in the valley this weekend. Here’s a look at just some events happening.
-The Fresno Grizzlies continue their home opener this weekend by taking on the Las Vegas 51s. They play at 7:05pm Friday and Saturday and 2:05pm Sunday. And don’t forget about Friday night’s post-game fireworks show.
-The Visalia Rawhide also continue their home opener series against the High Desert Mavericks. Games are Friday and Saturday at 7pm. Sunday’s game starts at 1pm when dogs are also invited for Bark in the Park.
-Chaffee Zoo is offering a unique experience this Saturday: "Breakfast with the Animals." Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m to the humans and then you get to watch some of the animals enjoy their breakfast. There will also be a Winged Wonders Bird show, animal presentations and live entertainment. 
-The largest two day festival in Central California kicks off Saturday in Old Town Clovis. Thousands of people will fill 11 blocks for Big Hat Days. There will be vendor booths; a carnival including rides, a petting zoo and pony rides; great local food; a beer garden and lots of silly hats.
-One of the largest classic car shows in the state takes place Saturday in the Tower District. The 15th Annual Tower Classic Car Show is from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nearly 500 cars will be on display dating from 1931-1972. The event also features vendor booths, live music, raffle prizes and lots of fun for the whole family.
 
-You can enjoy Fresno County’s fruits of labor this weekend. The wineries of the Twin Rivers Vintners Association invite you to its "Fresno County Spring Wine Journey." Print out a map, bring your own glass, and sample at several wineries for just $ 10. It’s both Saturday and Sunday. Visit fresnocountywinejourney.com for a map.
