Dead body found, Fresno police investigating

Fresno Police and Fresno City College Police are at the scene of an active investigation where one person is confirmed dead. 

The body was found in a duplex on Vasser, near Blackstone and Clinton in Central Fresno.

Authorities were called there shortly after 4:00 a.m. this morning for an "assault".

Since responding, crime scene tape has been put up and more officers have been called in to investigate.

A camera crew is on scene gathering more information. More updates will be provided as the are made available.
