A report from an independent review on the City of Fresno gives new insight into how the city is handling the recent troubles within the Police Department.

It comes on the heels of the shocking arrest of Deputy Police Chief Keith Foster, accused of running a drug trafficking ring.

In today’s report, released by the city’s Police Auditor, recommendations include a plan to examine personnel policies to look for any weaknesses in the department, a department-wide inspection process, increased ethics training and new policies for financial disclosures.
