Gang-Related Shooting Victim Identified

Fresno County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim in a gang-related shooting Wednesday night.

The Coroner’s Office said Thursday, the victim is Edward Contreras, 25. According to Fresno Police, Contreras was visiting friends, when he was killed.

The shooting happened at 10 P.M. Wednesday, near McKenzie and San Pablo Avenues. Officers arrived to find Contreras lying on a breezeway, near an apartment complex.
