Gruesome attack in Malaga, two in critical condition

An attempted murder suspect is behind bars after an attack on two people in Malaga.

Investigators say 20-year-old Gustavo Hernandez knows the two victims. He’s now in custody.

The attack was at a home on Cedar, just north of American.

The woman who lives at the home ran to a neighbors house for help around 4:00 a.m Sunday.

Her throat was slashed, but she was able to write down information about her attacker.

Both victims are in critical condition.

The couple’s daughter was asleep inside the home at the time of the attack.

She was not injured.
