Homicide in Firebaugh

Fresno County Sheriff’s are investigating a murder in Firebaugh. On Saturday, Deputies responded to an injured person near Nees and Jerrold Avenues. This is an unincorporated county area which is west of Firebaugh.

When the Deputies arrived, they located a Hispanic male, 40-45 years of age deceased. The victim appears to be deceased from a gunshot wound. Detectives have one person of interest currently detained.
