The lights are now out, at least for awhile, at the Bay Bridge.<br /> <br />The 1.8 mile wide LED light sculpture that’s decorated San Francisco for the last two years is taking a year-long break. Officials say it’s just for maintenance. They’ll be taken down so crews can paint the cables. <br /><br />"And when the lights come back on the eyes of the world will be on the Bay Area for Super Bowl 50. And the eyes of the world will be on this beautiful bridge and the re-lighting," <span style="font-size: 13.3333330154419px;">Keith Bruce, from the Super Bowl 50 Committee, said. <br /><br /></span>Next January they’ll have another ceremony to turn the lights back on, just before the Super Bowl.</div>
