Three major marijuana grows busted in the valley

In the north valley, three major pot grows are busted and shut down: two in Fairmead and one in Chowchilla.

Agents found several homes in the area with rooms filled with plants. Agents also discovered an electrical "bypass" stealing electricity from PG&E. Almost 3,000 marijuana plants were seized. That amounts to 14,000 gallons of water per day to irrigate the plants.

Once harvested, they would have an estimated street value of more than $ 3.3 million.
