Fire safety brought to local schools

For the first time in years, Clovis’ Fire Department is bringing lessons on fire safety to local schools. The lessons took place at Dry Creek Elementary earlier today.

Fire officials say the lessons are developed to help students understand how they can prevent fires and what they need to do during emergencies. Fire officials say the lessons are much needed locally.
