Summer Day Camp registration will be online only! We will not accept any in person registration or early registration - NO EXCEPTIONS! 

Once your child is registered online, you will need to submit the completed Registration form, a copy of your child's birth certificate, and a current photo of camper to our office, or you can email to cengfer@mariposacounty.org.

We are excited to partner with MCUSD to offer Day Camp free of cost this year! Thanks to the Expanding Learning Opportunities Program funding obtained by MCUSD, the cost of registration will be waived. The funding will provide daily lunch and snacks for all campers as well.

Events & More

The Parks and Recreation Summer Day Camp program has been so lucky to enjoy partnerships with local services for Takeover Days. Our campers have enjoyed takeovers from the Mariposa Sheriffs Office, Mariposa Safe Families, Mariposa Fair Rodeo Royalty, Mariposa County Fire, Healthy Eating, Mariposa Arts Council, Pure Training Studio, Beth Pratt with the National Wildlife Federation, Mariposa Soccer League and more. Campers were excited to go on a summer field trip to Splash n' Dash at Lake McClure to help close out their summer.   

Summer Day Camp Family Engagement Night

During the summer of 2023, Mariposa Parks and Recreation hosted the first annual Summer Day Camp Family Engagement Night. Family Engagement Night included free family swim for Day Camp families, a fun and entertaining Talent Show put on by the campers, lawn games and a Movie in the Park. This night was filled with friends, family and laughter!
